For the past 6 years, the GA CoHT and other CoHT members and friends from all over have been gathering each fall at beautiful Talton Woods, near Amicalola Falls and Dawsonville, GA in the north Georgia mountains. There have been a lot of great times, and there will be many more! We hope you'll join us.
The site for this year's Gathering is being moved to the head of the lake at Talton Woods, and is a beautiful spot with a lake front view, cool trails, cold water, plenty of shade and great potential for a lot of good times. Just follow the signs when you arrive at Talton Woods and you'll find your way easy enough.
Activities at the Gathering this year include a Seneca Run or Trail Walk, a canoe shoot, archery, hawk & knife competitions, women's games & children's games. Some prizes are being provided by the GA CoHT "Grits Fund", but donations are needed and welcome.
Swimming is also available in the creek or lake at own risk. No lifeguards are being provided.
